FIFA 21: FIFA 21 puts women in the spotlight

The last women’s world cup showed that the women’s team can be as entertaining to watch as their male counterpart can. Electronic Arts has decided to give a bigger place to women in the FIFA franchise. The first big decision in that regard is the inclusion, for the first time in the FIFA franchise, of the female announcer in the game. Nira Juanco, a famous Spanish football journalist will be the first women to join the impressive list of commentators who have collaborated with EA Sports over the years.

After publishing the list of the top 100 male players in terms of ratings, EA has published a list of the best women’s players in FIFA 21. The best player on that list is without any surprise Megan Rapinoe with a 93 overall rating. That number is noteworthy for a good reason; it is the same rating as Lionel Messi the best male player. Megan Rapinoe is the captain of the USA women’s national team. She has led her team to the world cup and won several trophies during her football career.

The other players on the list are also great players. Samantha Kerr (Australia) and WendieRenard (France) have a 92 overall rating. Vivianne Miedema (Netherlands), Amandine Henry (France) and DzseniferMarozsan (Germany) all have a 91 overall rating. Next are Lucy Bronze (England), Eugénie Le Sommer (France), Caroline Graham Hansen (Norway), Tobin Heath (United States) and Alex Morgan (United States) with 90. Closing the list with 89 each are Lieke Martens (Netherlands), AlmuthSchult (Germany), Christine Sinclair (Canada) and Julie Ertz (United States).

As we can see the top female players on this list are mainly from Europe and North America. The reason for this is the fact the game will only include selected women’s national teams. Only the players from those teams will figure in the game. It is only a start, but one day we will maybe see women’s football leagues in a FIFA game. U7buy offers you cheap FIFA 21 coins to help you build the ultimate team.
